Jazmin, originally a biology major aiming for a career in Forensic Science, discovered her passion for web design while in college, designing websites as a side-hustle. Her love for tech and design led her to experiment with HTML and CSS. Soon after, she grew a strong interest towards coding and even began viewing it much like biology - many discreet moving parts creating one big, beautiful, complex picture. As her desire for learning blossomed, she also began shifting her career focus to more tech-related roles.

 

In 2024, after learning about UI/UX design and completing the Workforce x UT Arlington UI/UX Design Cohort, she decided to pursue a career in design. Now she views UI/UX as a foundation, with the goal of ultimately becoming a full-stack developer.
